The green beans are as good as everyone says they are! The pork rind appetizers were tasty as well. The only disappointment was the ribs. They were kinda tough, but it was a sampler platter, so I am sure they don't serve the best pieces with that since it is a cheaper plate.
MoreStopped in on our roadtrip back to TX. Food was great with delicious flavor, service was fast and everyone was friendly. Thank you! We will be back next time we are in the area!
MoreFast service, friendly staff, excellent food. 5 stars for sure.
Holy smokes. I'm staying in Memphis, but was in Forrest City for work and decided to try the local BBQ. It was better than anything I've had in Memphis. The green beans sang love songs to my soul. The brisket was fantastic. Any good bbq place will either have banana or bread pudding on the menu, these guys have both. I chose the bread pudding, and they hit it out of the park. I will definitely always stop in here when I'm in town.
MoreAbsolutely amazing. My husband & I stopped on the way through town on a road trip. Not only did our food come out in record time, but the pulled pork sandwich and Mac n Cheese I got was soooo good. My husband raved about the half rack of ribs he got too - the meat was literally falling off the bone and the rub they used was great! If we are ever coming through town again weāll be stopping
MoreThe ribs were perfect. I got the green beans because of other reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The pulled chicken was really good. Brisket was just ok. Convenient parking and good service.
MoreTry the ribs; you won't be sorry! The dry rub was fabulous. The mac and cheese and okra was yummy too! A great place to stop for lunch on the way to Memphis!
MoreThere is a wait for your food but that's because it's fresh!! It's so good.
Very disappointing. The pork rinds started well, but our food was cold, the brisket plate was minuscule and the bbq sauce it was bathed in was overly sweet. The ribs were good though the slaw looked like it had been made last year. Not a place Iāll be stopping at again unfortunately - there are much much better bbq places to visit.
MoreJust to in on are way to Oklahoma and the staff was fast and friendly. And the pork skins are good. Really good music was playing as well. The place is small but very nice Atmosphere.
MoreI had the Jumbo pulled pork sandwich and fries with sweet tea. It was served quick, hot and most importantly tasted really good. My friend had baby back ribs ( wet ), green beans and mac & cheese. The ribs didn't hardly fall off the bone like he'd wanted. Overall we would stop by again.
MoreIf you like sweet smoky barbecue, this is the place to go. The women behind the counter were very polite and were exemplary in their service. If you don't want the same old fast food stuff on the road traveling, this is the place to stop.
MoreGreat BBQ! Very friendly service and great price.
Food was terrible and our waitress was rude. The ribs had no flavor, the barbecue sauce tasted watered down, and the bbq chicken nachos were like a bad cheese soup. Iām not sure why this place is so highly rated, but I donāt recommend wasting your time or money.
MoreGreat place to eat! The BBQ is fantastic and they serve Pork Rinds while you wait for your food that are the best. Nothing like you buy in a store. I have stopped here two different times with a motor coach group (34 one time and 21 another time) and they were wonderful to work with. It's a small restaurant but we tried to go in after their typical lunch rush and the service was fast and the server's were very nice. If you are passing through Forrest City it is definitely worth a stop. The Travel Lady Tours
MoreNice tender ribs. Yum yum.
I had the brisket sandwich no coleslaw and it was AMAZING! The fried pickles were the best I've ever had! Great friendly staff. Clean as well. Food was quick to the table. Everything I wanted in a restaurant was here.
MoreGood food, excellent service, wait staff was really nice. Could tell theyād had a rough day, but they were still all about giving a great experience. Pulled pork was top notch. They were out of the dessert I had ordered, so they gave me two pieces of pecan pie!
MoreSmall place with nice comfortable atmosphere. Stopped on our way through town, headed home to Texas. BBQ is a different style than we are used to. BBQ plate was really a small serving. The less expensive sand which had about twice as much brisket on it. Brisket was tough for me but I am used to sliced brisket ( cut across the grain). Sauce was pretty good. Hickory smoked chicken salad was pretty bland. Fried green beans were really good but very small portion. Service was super fast, food was out quickly and staff was friendly. Overall just too pricey for just OK BBQ.
MoreI was going to get take-out but it smelled so good in there I stayed to eat. The owner and so kind blond lady wait person were so welcoming and genuinely glad to serve you. Too many times servers act so blah! What a great place! The brisket was moist and done just right, the baked beans and slaw were delicious. The portions large and I look forward to leftovers tomorrow!
MoreWe stopped here en route to Texas. Food was good.. highly recommend the green beans as a side item.. Super flavorful! KI'd and I had the pulled pork and hubby had the catfish.
MoreDefinitely something for everyone. Perfect for couples, families, and groups. Wont break the bank either
MoreSuch amazing meat and sides, will go out of my way to eat here again.
Small family feel though the food portions are off. The brisket plate had less brisket than the brisket sand which. Overall, brisket was oily and a bit chewy but the potato salad was surprisingly good!
MoreThe slaw was terrible, the brisket "PLATE was a 1"thick x 4" L piece that was cold but had good flavor. The Portions suck, high prices. The staff was nice but the food prices or the portions need serious work!!
MoreFirst & last time here. Walked in & staff barely spoke. Asked for menu & was told āitās on the end of the counterā. Ordered 3 meat sampler platter & notes the $2 up charge for beef products. Was ok with that if thatās all I was charged... Was up charged $3 & only received 1 slice of brisket. Had pulled pork - almost room temperature & very fatty. Had the pulled chicken as the 3rd meat. Very very dry as well as room temperature. Green beans not bad if you like a pound of salt mixed into each order. Not impressed at all & will not be stopping back in.
MoreGood bbq and homemade pork rinds,
After traveling all day was recommended to this place. I got the ribs wife got the brisket. Food was good and enjoyed the decor. I would eat here again!
MoreThe food here is amazing! Absolutely spot on! The flavors are great! The waitress is super friendly! The food came out surprisingly quickly too! The BBQ pulled pork tacos were scrumptious!
MoreThe pork rinds were a delightful, unexpected surprise in place of the all too familiar chips and salsa we're used to in Texas. The sampler was very reasonably priced and allowed us to taste the pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and ribs and the superb green beans and coleslaw! What a treat! All 3 of us were very happy with the food and the service was extremely welcoming, attentive, playful and fast! We will definitely be back and encourage others passing through to give it a try.
MoreRibs, pork and brisket were really tasty. Loved the green beans and slaw. They were not serving alcohol, therefore the 4 stars. Pork rinds were good, too. Taking some home. The bag is huge for 2.99. Kailey, behind the bar, was super friendly and helpful. Good service.
MoreLast year passing through Forrest City Delta Q was great! Stopped by today, and was less than impressed. They have quit serving their home-made pork rinds (which was the reason I came back). Also, I tried the BBQ Nachos with Brisket, and there was maybe two bites of meat total. When I made a comment to the server, her only comment was "I'm sorry" and then we heard her and a coworker mumble "4 ounces of meat" I guess referring to my comment. I'm pretty sure what I was served contained much less than 4 ounces.
MoreNot bad. A little dry. House Sauce is definately on the vinegar side. You can snag a brew at the bar.
MoreStopped here on our drive home. I had their chicken sandwich, my husband had pulled pork and sides. My sandwich was excellent, the chicken practically melted in your mouth. My husband enjoyed everything but said his pulled pork was just room temperature, would be better if it was nice and hot. They give you a bucket of pork rinds when you sit down. They were pretty good too. Also our waitress was kind of quiet and hard to hear/understand.
MoreSorry not to be mean, but very mediocre bbq. I would not spend money there again.
MoreThe service along with the food was the best we have had in a long time!!! The friendliness and eagerness of the staff to assure our experience was pleasant, and they succeeded!!!!!! This is now our regular stop on our way through.
MoreMeh. A few crawlers in the lettuce that was definitely passed it's prime. Some days you get great service here, other days they won't even acknowledge you came in or come to your table to take your order. Sometimes the food is good, sometimes they don't have full menu. 4 stars on a good day. 1 star on a bad day. Fried Greenbeans appetizer is good. Smoked chicken is mild if you have digestive issues.
MoreMy wife and I were returning home from a trip, and we were going to stop and eat BBQ in Memphis. The impending rush hour traffic scared us away, however. I was worried it was gonna be fast food or some other place we've eaten at before until I remembered Delta Q in Forrest City. Boy,was this ever a good idea! Possibly the best BBQ I've had in Arkansas, and WAY up there overall. My wife and I had Pork BBQ sandwiches and fries. The sandwiches and fries were amazing, and the food came out quickly. Super nice staff as well. This one is worth a stop!. It's very easy to get to from i40 and US 70. It will be hard to drive by this place from now on!
MoreReally good food. Passing thru
Great pulled pork sandwiches and fast service
Nice place of medium size with a friendly staff. Free pork rinds while waiting for your meal. Beer prices cheep...3.50 fo Newcastle or Blue moon. Not much shade for parking but they are small, well-behaved dog friendly! They have lots of outlets and ports for charging electronics....and WiFi. The food is very good and the sauce was perfectly blended. I had the smaller sample platter with pulled pork, chicken and brisket. All three meats were great. My husband jumbo pulled pork sandwich and commented that the regular may well have been plenty. In conclusion, I would say that Delt Q is well worth the short detour off of 40 if you want a great meal.
MorePicked this place because of the good reviews, but they must not of ate there recently. First, No more pork rinds served. The waitress said it had been at least 2 mos since they had them. Although, they still have a sign by the register that says to be sure to buy a bag of pork rinds for $2.99. Guess they haven't had a chance to take down the sign. If you want beer, you are also out of luck. It's on the menu and all kinds of beer signs around but they no longer serve beer. No brisket the night we ate, pulled pork was not hot and the green beans everyone raved about were awful. Pulled pork tacos were not too bad, would have been better if the meat had been warmer. I say eat here if you don't have too high of expectations.
MoreHad the combination Plate - so good, after my meal I got something for later. Great tasting meats and good sides too.
MoreStopped in on a road trip for some fried okra. Staff was super friendly, food came out fast, restrooms were clean. Would definitely recommend!
MoreNice little place. Several beers, including craft beers from a local brewery and things like Bells Oberon, Goose Island IPA, and a few more. Pulled pork tacos were excellent and the sides did the job too. Kids menu includes two sliders with Mac nā cheese and the boys ate them right up. Fun vibe and friendly, attentive service.
MoreThe young lady who waited on us was the most friendly waitress I've ever encountered. She took orders for dine-in, carry out, and brought the food to our table. The food was good. The fried pickles were excellent!!! The batter was exceptional and they were spears!!!
MoreGreat desserts, great drinks, great waiters. And God Tier meats. Great job Delta Q
MoreDon't waste your time. Hot food barely warm, cold food not cold, side forgotten, baked beans looked like they were from a can of "pork and beans," "hot roll" turned out to be a so slightly toasted piece of bread that it had nno color, no butter, no seasoni, 3 for $1.99 hush puppies were overcooked and the size of marbles
MoreDisappointed. Passed through Memphis on our way back home to SC and stopped here on recommendation from our hotel. We had the brisket and smoked chicken plates. Biggest disappoint, which I've never seen before at a BBQ place, was the tiny meat portions! Two half inch thick slices of brisket and a handful of chicken! The brisket was mediocre anyways. The young waitresses were busy bickering amongst themselves so it took an inordinate amount of time just to get butter for the rolls - little slices in plastic cups. Plus only 1 bbq sauce flavor! Expected better from Memphis.
MoreThere are very few places that I give five stars, but when I do it is with great debate. This is a true southern BBQ. From the pulled pork, to the brisket, to the wet ribs, and even the potato salad... It was all amazing. I considered dinging them a star for not having beer (temporarily) but the food was REALLY that good. We will make the two hour trip anytime we visit family in Arkansas to get this type of deliciousness!!!
